Time is running out to save these dolphins from extinction

Make a donation today

New Zealand dolphins are dying in nets at a rate that will see them extinct if we don’t take urgent action.  This is a critical time for these charismatic little dolphins.  Please help us raise £12,000 to continue vital conservation work.

  • £100 will help work at the highest national levels to ensure the New Zealand government implements its promises to protect New Zealand dolphins from fishing nets throughout their home.
  • £75 will help establish a safe-haven for dolphins in the Cook Strait and Taranaki Bight – the area between the North and South Islands and vital habitat for New Zealand dolphins.
  • £50 will help representatives attend meetings for the New Zealand government’s Threat Management Plan for New Zealand dolphins, one of the best opportunities to increase protection.
  • £30 can help tell more people about the Hector's Dolphin Sightings App, an important tool for collecting citizen science data.

Donate £30 or more and as a thank you, you'll receive a 12-month subscription to our award-winning quarterly magazine, Whale & Dolphin.
