Our Individual Heroes
Simple fundraising ideas are often the most effective - but whatever you choose to do, make sure it fits in with your lifestyle and is something you will enjoy - above all, it should be fun!
Be inspired by some of our fundraisers or simply purchase something on our Amazon Wish List - whatever you do, you'll be helping us achieve our vision of a world where every whale and dolphin is safe and free.
Brave the Shave
Whilst many of us have bravely sported our 'home haircuts' during lockdown, Ianthe cut off her lovely long hair for WDC and raised over £400 (then donated the hair to the Little Princess Trust) and Bash braved the shave and raised a fantastic £720!
How much would your locks raise? And think how much you'd save on shampoo!
Running for Orcas
Brady from British Columbia decided it was time for action! Setting himself the target of running 100km (not in all on one day of course!), he raised CA$135.
Brady said: "The main reason I did this run was because I wanted to make a difference. I was just tired of always saying to myself that I should do something and then end up not doing anything. It feels awesome running for a cause you believe in and I encourage others to do the same".
Skydiving for dolphins, parachuting for porpoises
Jumping out of a plane isn't for the faint-hearted but Claire Dayment (pictured), Kenzie Grant and Kasey Hazel did just that and had a whale of a time. If you'd like to take on a Skydive to help whales and dolphins, get in touch!

Urban Beach Clean
Organise or take part in an Urban Beach Clean (UBC) in your local area and combine it with a Street Collection to raise vital funds for WDC.
Donate your birthday
By asking friends and family for a donation for WDC instead of presents, you'll help give the gift of freedom to orcas and dolphins held in captivity.
A super-simple fundraiser! Grab your friends and find a nice spot in the park, on campus, at the beach or anywhere you can enjoy an outdoor meal together.
