Help foster a love of whales in the Faroe Islands

Support Faroese communities to end the whale and dolphin hunts

Make a donation today

Whale and dolphin hunts have been happening in the Faroe Islands for more than 1,200 years. It’s ingrained in the culture. But not everyone in the Faroe Islands supports the slaughter of whales and dolphins. In fact, recent polling tells us that around 70% of the Faroese population are against hunting dolphins.

The tide is turning against the killing and consumption of whales and dolphins. And our mission is to nurture this growing movement.

Your donation today could help to:

  • support grassroots activism and extend the existing network of Faroese campaigners
  • provide inspirational resources to be shared within local communities
  • lead to real change that could end whale and dolphin hunting in the Faroes for good

Donations from supporters like you have helped to suspend whale hunting in Iceland for the 2023 summer season. A donation from you today could help to do the same in the Faroe Islands, supporting local passion and grassroots activism within Faroese communities.

There may be no easy answers or quick fixes to end these hunts but together we can help Faroese people become a part of the global movement to save the whale to save the word.
