Charlie was born in the summer of 2007 and is a boisterous, young male dolphin. He enjoys racing around Chanonry Point and Cromarty Firth with his buddies Lunar and Flake, getting into all sorts of trouble!
One of his favourite places is the Kessock Channel, where he regularly visits his mum, Kesslet. He's an expert hunter and is often spotted tucking into a tasty salmon. His movements and hunting techniques are so similar to Kesslet's that even our field officer, Charlie, sometimes gets confused!
Charlie can be easily identified by his tall, straight dorsal fin which has a number of bite marks. In recent years he has been making his presence known in the pecking order of the local dolphin society. He's a strong, powerful dolphin and enjoys showing off to the ladies!
