We are partnering with Michelin to take whales off the menu

WDC's Stop whaling campaigners Carla and Luke visit Michelin HQ

We are delighted to announce that we are now working with Michelin, one of the most influential players in the food industry, to stop the endorsement of restaurants that serve whale meat.

Following meetings with two senior members of the Michelin team, we will now work in partnership on a plan that will benefit whales, dolphins and the ocean, setting out clear principles and instilling a sense of sustainability in the next generation of chefs.

The agreement follows the launch of our campaign backed by thousands of our supporters urging Michelin to stop the promotion of whale meat dishes and change the course in the restaurant industry.
