Our Scottish Dolphin Centre has been recognised by Tripadvisor as a 2023 Travelers’ Choice award winner.

The coveted award celebrates businesses that have consistently received great traveler reviews on Tripadvisor over the last 12 months, placing these winners among the 10% of all listings on Tripadvisor globally.

The Scottish Dolphin Centre has welcomed nearly 50,000 visitors so far in 2023, and many of them have enjoyed excellent sightings of the local bottlenose dolphins who visit Spey Bay to feed on fish outside the estuary. Visitors can learn more about the whales and dolphins that live in Scottish waters, and about WDC’s work to protect them. The Centre also offers a gift shop and café serving home bakes and local producers.

‘We are delighted to win another award and we’d like to thank all of our past visitors who took the time to complete a review on the site,’ said Alison Rose, SDC manager. ‘We take pride in providing a great visitor experience for all who come looking for dolphins with us and I hope this will encourage even more people to come to Spey Bay.’

Congratulating the Centre’s award, John Boris, chief growth officer at Tripadvisor said, ‘The travel resurgence we’ve seen throughout the past year has even further heightened the competition. Earning a Travelers’ Choice Award demonstrates that you have provided great experiences to those who matter most: your guests. ‘
