WDC Dolphin Defender Theo awarded BBC Climate Champion Award

Theo - BBC Climate Champion

WDC Dolphin Defender, Theo (8) has been awarded a BBC Climate Champion Award. Theo carries out regular clean-ups on his local beach in Norfolk to protect the local wildlife including many seals.

Theo litter picks more than a full bin bag every time he goes out and says ‘each one means less litter in the ocean hurting wildlife’.  Theo has inspired many people in his local community including the local fish and chip shop to help him. Watch Theo’s video to see Theo in action (and some lovely seals)!

Would you like to help WDC create healthier, safer seas for whales and dolphins? You do not need to live by a beach to help us.

Up to 95% of all the plastic in the ocean comes from our towns and cities. We can help tackle the problem together by cleaning up litter. Doing your Urban Beach Clean is easy. Get in touch at [email protected] we are here to help you get started.

Please send us your photos so that we can give you a shout out in WDC’s Splash Magazine.
