Humpbacks ahoy! New limited edition whale towel is launched by Dock & Bay

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Dock & Bay to raise awareness of the dangers posed by single-use plastics with a limited edition whale towel, made from 100% recycled materials.

Dock & Bay (who you may have seen on Dragon’s Den in 2017!) make amazing quick-dry, sand free, super-colourful towels. Their new towel, sporting a cute humpback whale design, is made from 100% recycled materials AND 20% of the retail price is coming straight to us!

Humpback whales are amazing. These huge, graceful creatures are the virtuosos of the deep, singing some of the most complex melodies of any non-human, and travel thousands of miles every year, on some of the longest migrations in the mammal world. But they still face many threats. Victim to ship strikes, entanglement in fishing gear and even hunting, these gentle giants are in need of help.

‘As a brand that focuses around the amazing adventurous opportunities that our awesome planet provides for us, we are so proud for our first charity partnership to be with such a passionate charity that really focuses on protecting our oceans and the incredible inhabitants of it. This is our favourite project yet.’ – Andy Jefferies, Co-Founder of Dock & Bay

Dock & Bay has further demonstrated their support for WDC and passion for the ocean by adopting Salt, one of the humpbacks in our adopt a whale programme.

We are so pleased to be part of their first ever charity collaboration, and these fin-tastic towels are sure to turn a few heads at the beach! Get your whale towel now from Dock & Bay.
