Getting A Bit More Lively Sundance !

Despite a bitterly cold north-easterly wind, conditions at Chanonry Point yesterday were pretty much ideal for dolphin watching with a good incoming tide, nice sunshine, some migrating salmon and of course – a good active sub group of the resident Bottlenose dolphins. Amongst the fifteen or so that I counted were two of the WDC Adopt a Dolphin big males, Mischief and Sundance and while Mischief was taking it easy feasting on fresh salmon – his big buddy Sundance was getting a bit more energetic – showing some of the younger males just who is boss…

For a while there was a great deal of speeding around, chasing salmon and larking about with these big, powerful, wild and free dolphins showing the enthralled dolphin watchers just why they are the apex predators and why they must be protected for the future – why not Donate to help us help them?
