BBC schools’ radio programme talks dolphins

At WDC we welcome opportunities to talk to young audiences about whales and dolphins and the work that we do. When I was approached by the BBC to take part in a schools’ radio programme about the Moray Firth bottlenose dolphins in Scotland, I was very pleased to agree. We were joined by three pupils from a local primary school who asked some intriguing questions and were also lucky enough to spot some dolphins as we toured the Scottish Dolphin Centre and beach. Like many local children here, they had seen dolphins before, but there was still great excitement when they appeared in the Firth!

The programme is aimed at Scottish schools second level, and would be suitable for upper primary school children internationally. Listen here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0323dfx
