Beluga whales latest surprise visitor to UK waters

Two beluga whales were sighted in the North Sea earlier this week off the coast of Northumberland.

The whales were caught on camera swimming just off the beach. In July another beluga was seen off Northern Ireland.

Belugas, normally found in cold, arctic waters, are rare visitors to UK waters with less than 20 recorded sightings.
