Student travel firm giant stops selling trips to SeaWorld

Student travel firm, STA Travel, has re-instated a ban on selling trips to SeaWorld marine parks. The company first implemented the ban last week but later withdrew it. However, STA later apologised for any confusion and the ban is now formally back in place.

STA, which organises trips for up to 2.5 million students and young people a year, says the move to stop selling trips to SeaWorld is part of company-wide policy to ensure its products were “of high quality and responsible” and also “ethical”.

SeaWorld said that it is disappointed that STA have made the decision to stop selling tickets to it parks.
