Miss V's Blog #5 – The Bake Sale

Hey, I am back! Today I am going to talk about the bake sale I did at school.

After preparing for the bake sale by baking and working with my teacher, we were ready. The day the sale started a lot of friends were asking me if they could help out. My teacher also bought lemonade to wash the cookies and chocolates down. When the first kid came I was so happy that kids were happy to help the whales and dolphins! Lots of teachers bought goodies, too.

Throughout the week of the bake sale, lots of friends helped and we raised money every day. I felt so good. I would wake up every morning excited to do the fundraiser! My teacher Mr. B helped SO much. So a big thanks to him.

When it was time to finish up I put together a special card for my mom because she as well helped SO much!!! Everyone who bought something signed the card. I was kind of sad when it ended but I felt really happy inside because I helped whales and dolphins out a ton!! All together the bake sale raised almost $158.00 and I hope everyone learned more about whales and dolphins.

Well hope you enjoyed this blog post and check back to hear the end of my story!! 🙂
