An announcement has been made in India that the government there will not allow any dolphinariums (aquariums that hold dolphins) to be built in the country.

WDC has been campaigning on this issue for many years so we are delighted to hear that holding dolphins in captivity will be banned! We send our thanks and congratulations to the Indian government.
