Swim With Dolphins In The Cove Where They Are Slaughtered

Taiji, the Japanese town made infamous by the brutal dolphin hunts that take place there each year, is now offering opportunities for tourists to swim with those animals captured in the very same hunts.

The cove, whose waters run red with the blood between September and April each year, is netted off during the summer months with dolphins brought over from the nearby Taiji Whale Museum for people to swim with.

It is incomprehensible for WDCS to imagine swimming in a cove with dolphins captured during the brutal slaughter that takes place for nearly eight months of the year. This is just another way for the town to exploit dolphins and another atrocity to add to the list of crimes against dolphins being committed in Taiji, Japan.
