Switzerland Bans Import Of Dolphins For Captive Shows

Swiss authorities have announced that the import of dolphins (and whales) will be banned, a decision that effectively ends any new captive whale and dolphin shows in the country.

Currently, Connyland is the only animal park in Switzerland where dolphins are kept with three remaining at the facility after the controversial deaths of two dolphins last year.

The decision means that the remaining dolphins will live out their days at the Connyland facility.
