WDCS Criticizes Hong Kong Airlines For Live Dolphin Shipment

Hong Kong Airlines has agreed to stop the transfer of live dolphins on its cargo planes after coming under pressure from the public.

WDCS was dismayed by reports that Hong Kong Airlines had potentially been profiting from the shipment of live dolphins from Japan to Vietnam.

These dolphins were most likely acquired through the cruel dolphin drive hunts, and pose severe conservation and welfare concerns. Profit or no profit, we are urging Hong Kong Airlines to refuse any further shipments of dolphins.
