How to leave a gift in your Will

Information on how to include WDC in your Will

I've decided to leave a gift to Whale and Dolphin Conservation in my Will. What do I need to tell my solicitor?

Your solicitor will need our registered address and charity numbers, which are:

Registered charity numbers 1014705 (England and Wales) or SC040231 (Scotland).

I give to WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Brookfield House, 38 St Paul Street, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 1LJ (registered charity number 1014705), the gift of [insert percentage here]%  to be used by WDC at its discretion.  I declare that the receipt of the finance director, or appropriate officer, shall be complete discharge to my executors. 

Specific Gift:

I give to WDC, Whale and Dolphin Conservation, Brookfield House, 38 St Paul Street, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN15 1LJ (registered charity number 1014705),  [insert specified item] of my estate to be used by WDC at its discretion.  I declare that the receipt of the finance director, or appropriate officer, shall be complete discharge to my executors. 

Codicil:

This allows you to make a simple addition to your Will.  It will need to be witnessed and kept with your Will.
